Interesting article I read. I gotta admit, having ancestors who lived among the Nordic people and built them from day one, and even the element of change which took place they were part of…POINT is, having read this I’m just saying it’s very accurately portrayed. Also it’s important that culture is emphasized. Culture meaning the Northan culture of personal space is important top understand but also personal space is a normal thing we all have. For example being quick to offer a handshake or a hug to a complete stranger dose not really make sense anywhere, including Norway. That’s the important thing for people to understand in terms of culture. However in terms of the article I got to say it was overall accurate, but that element of culture really is an important thing for people to understand. Also if they are new in town and have not been seen before people will be curious of who that new face is, however once people know that new face is a good face then the socialism increases between individuals. Even as friends. This is another important point sometimes the best relationships are formed from friendship for a really long time. I mean me as an example sailing and constantly travelling for both adventure and discovery, just like our ancestors, yet making friends who made relationships that stood out to be the best was the friends who made friends casually for a long time getting to know personalities, then that lead to a spark of ‘Well we’re like that so lets push that friendship up to more than friends.’ This flow honestly is what I’v seen not just in Norway but everywhere all over the world; leads to the best relationships. Also one other thing that is important to mention is not all but a lot of Norsken and Northan, and even Eastern cultures are very family orientated therefore the person your friending, there’s a very high chance of you also friending their family and both men and women’s families do tend to meet together as well as the two. This is important to mention because it’s not like that everywhere but it is like that in Norsken culture as well as Northen and Eastern. Another thing is about mentioning the war, honestly it’s a time a lot of people who were in the thick of the war likes to forget. May 17th constitution is celebrated and cherished and many smiles from people like me as well as the ancestors see the happiness and that no one forgot about its importance, which is a positive thing to both see, even from their point of view, having had ancestors myself that were noble men and women during the lands hard times. It’s also important for people to understand history is always uncertain about such deep topics so honestly it would be good for people to know that talking about the war is quite off putting due to the few people like myself where we had our ancestors killed serving in those times, as well as those that lived the minor victory. Norway was victorious but also very broken especially during 18th war (Prussian) and WWII. The point is the article was very accurate and correct but it’s important for foreigners to understand that it’s not necessarily a good idea to talk about Northan politics as they are unfortunately inaccurate mostly and can cause people to be put off. BUT it’s also important for people to understand that if they can ‘go with the flow’ and be ‘chilled’ they’ll get LOTS of Women and men in case they are looking for that. And of course the article is overall accurate ad great, not trying to criticize it too harshly here. But I do make an important point. Also do talk about how people, especially Norskens LOVE hiking and that type of adventurous travel, where as Swedes tend to be more indoor type of people, however that dose vary but I think, based on most people I hung out with like 80% LOVE hikes, so people should remember their strong hiking legs, which is an 80% turn on. BUT that’s my opinion here, thinking maybe a good thing to add in, maybe.
